Ghost Dog the way of the samuria

all Rock Climbing gear.com have offered a donation if I publish my thesis on "ghost dog way of the samuria" in full on my blogg. On top of this already surprise if they decide this film review/ thesis is good they will make further donations for me to research other independent movies.

Has anyone heard of them? do they own any other sites perhaps of a movie type?

The Three interlocked Pigeons

So what's the deal with the pigeon symbol ? the three interlocked pigeons in a circle, this is the symbol worn on Ghost Dog's coat and tatoo'd on his fore arm. Why would a so called Samurai have a pigeon symbol on him ?, I say so called as I have not yet explained if I believe Ghost Dog to even be a samurai or not.

What does a pigeon stand for ? the pigeon in Samurai legend was the messenger of the war God. Which may explain why Ghost Dog always used a pigeon to send his messages to his retainer , so called. You could say his messages of war.

Ghost Dog Way Of The Samurai - investigation

Hi my name is Craig,
A few years ago now I saw a movie by Jim Jarmusch called "Ghost Dog The Way Of The Samurai". I must mention reading about the movie before I watched interested me and made me wonder.
I watched Ghost Dog and had a thousand questions, so watched it over and over. I bought the DVD in the hope that there may be a director's commentary included, no luck.
Soon I had a long list of question that I needed answered about Ghost Dog, much like Martin Luther who need answers of the Catholic church that didn't seem to have answer. I left my questions sitting for some time, until I was asked to write a thesis on any thing in the final year of my BA. It was suggested that an obsession would be a good start, as this topic would need to be studied in depth, as I scratched my back and felt the raised edges of my tattoo I thought "Ghost Dog". At this point I should mention some year's before I had found out what the Ghost Dog symbol was and had it tattooed on my back.
In my next posting I will list my questions and publish my thesis. I'll also field questions if anyone has if any. May be a reading list ?.
